Guiding provides girls with fantastic opportunities to develop life skills, friendship, respect for their environment and a sense of community.
Springwood Winmalee Guides has active Units catering for girls from 5 to 18 years of age. Guides try a wide range of activities, appropriate to their age and abilities. The girls decide, plan, participate in and evaluate their program which is facilitated by an accredited trained adult volunteer Leader.

Girl Guide Ski Trip
(Friday, 24 July 2009 - Sunday 26 July 2009)
Guides 9 and over are invited to our Ski Trip staying at ‘Araluen’, a Guide property in Jindabyne, and skiing for two days at Perisher Blue Ski Resort.
On Friday we will be stopping at Goulburn for morning tea, Canberra and the Australian War Memorial for lunch, then on to Jindabyne for unpacking, ski hire and dinner. Saturday and Sunday will be full days on the ski slopes including 1st timer lessons and lift tickets.

Springwood Guides Purple T-Shirts Available to Order
We have two types of shirts available: one is for Guides and Leaders who have made their promise – these will have the Guide Logo on the front.
The second style will have a plain front for Adults who have not made their promise – but we are very grateful that they want to help!
