Guiding provides girls with fantastic opportunities to develop life skills, friendship, respect for their environment and a sense of community.
Springwood Winmalee Guides has active Units catering for girls from 5 to 18 years of age. Guides try a wide range of activities, appropriate to their age and abilities. The girls decide, plan, participate in and evaluate their program which is facilitated by an accredited trained adult volunteer Leader.

JOTA WEEKEND - Jamboree Of The Air
(18 – 19 OCTOBER 2008)
The theme is JOTA : Guiding around the world - we will be speaking to Guides and Scouts from all over NSW, Australia and hopefully the world!!!
Guides will be using a Radio set to talk to others, as well as an internet site.
Other activites will be based upon the 4 World Centres – Our Chalet in Switzerland, Our Cabana in Mexico, Olave House in England and Sangam in India.
