Travel is the theme for 2008!
Two of our Rangers, Kellie and Sophie, recently returned from a school exchange program to Italy. They had a wonderful time and learnt a lot about the language and culture.
Unit Leader Erin has returned from her travels in Canada. She was working and living in the Snowfields for the Winter.
Ainslie is preparing for a trip to Japan at the end of the year. She will be representing Guides Australia at a camp during the holidays.
The Unit is busy fundraising for the Jamboree in September 2008 to be held at Tara. Senior Guides from all over NSW will attend and its a great chance to catch up with old friends.
The Unit also recently attended the NSW State Regatta along with the Blue Mountains OP's, for the fourth year in a row. They won 3 events and got places in quite a few others, a great result overall. The theme this year was Retro, and the girls had fun dressed up with afro wigs, giant sunnies and disco ball jewellery.
